Gelato and schiacciata on Scheveningen harbour

The schiacciata is the sleeper hit, Tuscan flatbread piled with mortadella, pistachio pesto and aubergine, or burrata with tomato. Gelato is the headline though, hazelnut and stracciatella leading the pack.

Jamal Redouani and Talisa Redouani La Via also run Oma Toos nearby, cooking old Dutch food there. This spot carries the name of Talisa's Italian grandfather instead.

Has to be our favourite stop off everytime we are in the haven. Ice creams (Dark Chocolate mmmmm!) coffee, sandwiches - all freshly prepared, served with a smile.

I don’t think it tastes exactly like gelato in Italy but it’s still very good artesan ice cream and especially the ice cream portions are lovely. The decoration and music too creates such a nice ambiance

After dinner treat! Opa Pino ice cream! Delicious creamy cold icecream. I had the salted caramel in a cup! A very cute ice cream parlour too. ❤️❤️
