Gelato in hand-thrown bowls off the Kneuterdijk
Soul Be It sits on the Heulstraat, a minute from the Kneuterdijk and around the corner from the Noordeinde shops. The gelato is made on site and served in ceramics the owners threw themselves.
The Hague Online wrote about it a few weeks after opening, about as long as it took the street to catch on. The shop is small, so the queue hits the door fast on a warm afternoon.

I liked that there were very interesting flavor and that you could see the image for each flavor on the wall - it was really cute. But for the me the ice cream was very sweet that I couldn’t even taste the flavor properly. Such small scoops cost €4.80 😅 Also, the service was slow.

This was the best gelato I’ve ever had! The owner was so kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back!

This is not your regular ice cream parlour. The owner is super friendly and creates innovative and delicious flavours you won’t find anywhere else. Definitely worth a detour if you want a special gelato!

I am a visitor in Den Haag and actually was on my way to another ice cream stop, then I found that lovely little place and Googled it. I am totally obsessed with Karen's philosophy, her lovely creations, special flavours and high quality ice cream. While talking she told me, the place is very new, like 8 weeks! I am so happy I walked in here, lucky me. She offers about 6 to 7 flavours, some of them are milk based, some of them coconut based and she got also lovely sorbet (vegan) and always about 1 to 2 weekly specials. I totally recommend her a lot!!!

Soul Be It Gelato for the Soul 🍨❤️ Wowwwww! What an amazing place! The gelato is absolutely delicious rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Everything is freshly made. Every bite truly feels like a treat for the soul. The atmosphere is something special as well. It feels less like a shop and more like relaxing in a cozy living room, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a sweet moment. My daughter and I both absolutely love coming here. The warm welcome and personal touch make the visit memorable. And Karen, the owner, is simply wonderful, friendly, passionate, and genuinely caring about her customers. If you’re looking for incredible gelato and a place that feels like home, I highly recommend Soul Be It. We will definitely be back!
