A gift shop where half the space is a workshop
Ellnout sits in the Bolle Bieste neighbourhood, a five-minute walk from Zwolle's centre, run by Ellen and Reinout. The shop splits its floor evenly between retail and workshop space, neither side crowding out the other.
The shelves hold posters, jewellery, ceramics, home accessories and postcards, while the other half is set up for making and drawing together.

A collection of creative work by various artists, both local and from all corners of the country. A perfect little shop to find a non-standard gift, for example, or something nice to display somewhere in your home. Like this Dalmatian figurine, for instance. It is also very nice to see the creative ways the artists use to create their work to find inspiration.
