A concept store and mini-museum inside a former horseshoe smithy

OODZ sits at Thomas à Kempisstraat 38, in a listed building that operated as a horseshoe smithy until 1972. Founder Marleen Veenhuis built a compact concept store with a coffee-to-go counter, plus a mini-museum: a QR-code audio tour tells the building's history while you browse.

The shelves carry handmade jewellery and interior accessories from local makers.

What a lovely spot for a cup of coffee and a cake in a historic blacksmith's workshop. Still full of old features to admire (almost a kind of mini museum). Additionally, there is all kinds of art to view or buy. A very nice concept, well worth a visit.
