Ten Trondheim makers, one shop, on Paraplygata

Ten local makers, one shop. Atmos Kunst fills the space M. Sommer left behind after 137 years selling sewing supplies, and every shelf now holds ceramics, jewellery, perfume, prints and textiles made by someone in the room.

A few of the makers launched their own labels just months before opening, and the cooperative gives them a Midtbyen address none could swing solo. It's next door to Flying Tiger, a minute from Trondheim Torg.

Good to know

• Open Monday to Saturday 10–18; the makers take turns behind the counter, so you can usually ask whoever made the thing.
• Stock is one-off and restocked in small batches, what is there this week may not be there next.

  A beautiful shop! All the items are from local creators and there's a range of items from perfume to jewellery to art. I bought some lovely smelling perfume and some jewellery. Highly recommend visiting!
