Pizza and coffee by day, cocktails upstairs after dark, on Paredones

Desert Café & Bar sits on Avenida Paredones across from the corner locals call PK2. There's less foot traffic here than the plaza-front cafes, but the pace is slower, made for sitting and talking.

Days run pizza, coffee and hot chocolate pairings. Nights, the bar moves upstairs and the crowd changes with it. It's smaller than most cafes in the center, a solid backup when the plaza spots are full.
