La Catedral Café

Chanchamayo coffee beats the usual Ica beans
Right on the Plaza de Armas, La Catedral pours specialty coffee from Chanchamayo instead of the Ica-grown beans most Nazca cafes default to. The menu wanders past sandwiches into pizza and burgers, which is odd for a spot branded as a café, and it runs late most nights.
Weekends sometimes bring live music with a charcuterie board and a glass of wine. Everything in central Nazca is a five-minute walk from here.
Good to know
- Open until 10:30pm most nights, later than most cafes on the plaza.
- Weekend evenings sometimes add live music and wine.

Very generous portions! We had a poke bowl and the salchipapa. Only thing I’d say is the food could’ve had more seasoning. Coffees were good too. Staff very friendly and food came out quickly.

Had a really lovely experience at this cafe ☕✨ The coffee and food were both delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. We had smoothis bowl, burrito and affogato. The portions are really generous and delicious! Thank you!

They are really nice with very good kitchen and prices. I made a mistake with food and they bring me another even if it was my fault. It is our favorite place in Nasca. Go there!

Came for waffles originally and ended up coming back for my entire stay in Nasca. All meals were exceptionally prepared and tasty whether it was an oat bowl for breakfast or a wrap for dinner. Great value for the price. Totally recommended.

Really nice place near the town center. I am vegetarian and had the mushroom burrito that came with 2 very good sauces. There are very limited vegetarian/ vegan options but there are a few ~ caprese sandwich, mushroom burrito, waffles and smoothie bowl. Would be nice if there were a few more sandwich options for vegetarians or a burger option. No lactose free milk but they do have orange coffee and Americanos etc. Reasonably priced, nice staff and they even moved our table when we were too hot in the sun.
