Progressive Filipino cooking, grown down the road

UMA sits at South Palms Resort on Panglao with the sea right in front of it. Chef Kenjelo builds the menu around Bohol's own produce, calling the style progressive Filipino, sharper and more composed than the usual home-style plates.

Uma means farm in Bisaya, and Sunday proves it: a market runs from 10am to 2pm. The restaurant is also the clearest sign the resort just became an MGallery property.
