The pizza gets you in the door, but the arancini might be the better order. Downstairs, a hidden bar throws parties with no fixed schedule, and finding out about it is half the fun.
Dorobanți is stacked with Italian menus, so a basement you have to ask about is a real edge. Be polite when you ask. The staff decide how secret it stays that night.

A really good place to eat and have a nice meal, but the overall restaurant business is hit hard these days, not many customers unfortunately.

We arrived here 15 minutes before closing and the staff were super helpful and let us go and get a drink whilst they prepared a table for us. The Margheritas were delicious 😋 We ordered starters, pizza and pasta and everything arrived quickly, well cooked and very tasty. The tempura cauliflower was a real hit.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much at first, but the pizza is actually really good. Light crust, fresh toppings, and it tastes like someone actually cares what they’re serving. Service was chill too — friendly, not pushy, and pretty fast even though it was busy. Best part? There’s a bar downstairs that I had no idea about. Small, nice vibe, good music and proper drinks (not sugary nonsense). It gets fun on weekends without feeling crowded or annoying. Good food upstairs, cool drinks downstairs. Kinda perfect combo. I’d come back for sure.
