Caviar rigatoni and oysters for Floreasca's dressed-up nights

Caviar Rigatoni is the dish everyone's ordering, and the oysters aren't far behind. Steak au poivre and fillet mignon round out a menu built for sharing, spice-led and a little showy in a room made for evening plans.

It landed on Calea Floreasca fast enough to become a name people mention when they're asked where's new in Bucharest. Put on something decent, the room notices.

Lovely place, designed beautifully inside. I came to eat alone, took for starters the duck croquets with the mashed potatoes, its a pretty large portions, the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy and the croquets were tasty! For main - i took the steak & frites with the herbal sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly as i asked (medium), smooth and 'melts' in your mouth, Fries were amazing too! Dessert - i took the hazel chocolate cake, it had a great taste, i could feel it was made eith good quality chocolate, not too sweet, perfect. Vibe & athmosphere - i came to eat there in a pretty quiet time, which i like and prefer more, so i had a great time, nice choice of music in the background, comfortable seats and well designed. Service was very good, always checking up, making sure im fine. I would definetly come back again.

The atmosphere ar Zaaf is elegant and relaxing. I enjoyed the interior design and music very much. The food i cannot say was the best unfortunately, we ordered the calamari with feta cheese but the bed of edamame i don’t think is fitting well but we enjoyed the foiegras. We had many expectations from the iberico pork but we did not like it, the side with apples was not a good pair and the cut of pork had too much fat. We ordered the millefeuille potatoes which were not cooked enough. But we enjoyed the service, it showed a good quality and luxury expectations restaurant. Our server Gabi observed we are not satisfied withe the dinner and offer us a delicios desert (creme brûlée) and an alcoholic digestive drink. We appreciated it very much and only this touch will make us return to this restaurant.

Came to Bucharest for a holiday and this restaurant was the best one during our trip. The food was truly outstanding. We tried snails, red shrimp carpaccio, cordon blue, l'entrecot and creme brulee. Every single dish was fantastic. The flavours, textures and presentations were perfect. Our waiter Nicusor was also polite and professional. Overall, amazing experience that I recommend. The only small detail was that upon arrival the staff took a bit of time to check for a free table since we didn't make a reservation. It was strange since the restaurant was empty the whole time we were there (week day lunch). Why take time to check if you know that there are no reservations? But it didn't affect our experience at all, just a bit of food for thought.

Amazing upscale dining experience! Perfect for groups or friends getting together, as the dishes are designed for sharing. Zaaf serves beautifully presented, exquisitely prepared European classics in an elegant and stylish setting. My favorite was Pork Ibérico - rich in flavor and with perfect texture. The atmosphere blends a high-end design with a relaxed, inviting vibe. And the service is truly impeccable - attentive, professional, and detail-oriented. A wonderful addition to Bucharest’s fine dining scene.
