A beach bar on Migjorn that had to change its name

Juanjo Costa opened this bar on Migjorn beach on 21 July 2024, on the site of the old Kiosko Lucky. It ran its first season as Amagatai.

A trademark dispute forced a rename in 2025, and Costa landed on [a]mar, a name that folds together the Spanish words for sea and love.

Good to know

• Expect to pay around 20 euros for a lunch plate.
• Go before 1:00 PM if you want a table on the front deck.
• The grilled fish is the most consistent item on the menu.
• Ask for a table under the shade structures if you arrive after 2:00 PM.
