The old Circle Club, reborn as a lounge with DJ nights on weekends

Le Portier took over the Aarbergergasse space that used to be the Circle Club, opening at the end of 2025 as a lounge built around comfortable seating and a dressed-up atmosphere. Most nights it stays quiet, then Fridays and Saturdays after 11pm a DJ takes over and the room turns into something closer to a party.

It's a renovated venue. It's much better than before, but the entrance area should also include a coat rack. An extra queue just for coats unnecessarily lengthens the whole process. The drink prices are cheap: 15 francs for spirits and only 6 francs for a beer! But the DJ is really bad; please find a good one who mixes the music properly! His mix completely distorts the beats, which is really disappointing and keeps the dance floor empty!
