Simmentaler beer brewed right at Bern's main station
Simmentaler Brewhouse opened March 27, 2025, at Bern's main train station, bringing the Simmentaler beer brand out of its home valley and into the capital. Brewer Mario Binggeli brews 400 liters on-site every other week, in full view of anyone walking through, alongside coffee, snacks, and aperitif platters.
Right at the station's main entrance, the Brewhouse keeps long hours seven days a week: open from early morning into the late evening, and until 2am on weekends.

I love the beer flights, lovely clean beer, music is great, old Skool hip hop always good for me, staff very friendly too, came here twice during my trip cause I loved it.
