Part bottle shop, part bar, built from shipping containers

Tefota runs out of stacked shipping containers in Vaiaku, a drink shop by day and a bar by night. Show up on a weekend and it's about as close as Funafuti gets to a proper night out, loud music and a young crowd.

Entry costs about $10, and $20 gets you into the VIP section during the year-end parties. Every venue on the island has to close by law ahead of Sunday, so last drinks here land by 11:30pm on Saturday.
