Coffee and pastries by Endcliffe Park's gates
Grab something before you hit the trail. Porter sits right where Sharrow Vale Road meets Endcliffe Park, pouring coffee and turning out house-made pastries seven days a week since it opened in 2024.
The bakery side has grown into its own thing here, worth the stop even without the walk. Sandwiches too, but people come back for what's in the pastry case.

Sat outside and enjoyed a good coffee with beautiful latte art, shared a cinnamon bun with my friend which was delicious because of the lime zest on the icing! Also, the service was fast, kind and accommodating even when it was a little busy! Would definitely return and recommend.

It’s always been a lovely little coffee shop but since they opened their bakery in Bakewell , the pastries have really gone up a level. Super light tasty croissants without a hint of oiliness. Amazing danish with custard , cream and fresh strawberries. Soon to arrive will be bread from the bakery which we tried at the sharrowvale market recently and it was excellent. Catches the sun too so a great spot outside on a sunny day.

A lovely little independent business on the buzzing Sharrowvale Road offering fantastic quality coffees and delicious cakes, pastries and other sweet treats. A wonderful place to sit and people watch 😊 I’ve not had a chance to visit the new shop and their bakery in Bakewell as yet but I’ve seen some very good reviews on social media so can’t wait to try it soon. Well done Team Porter 💪

The vibes here are always so good. Been here with my sister and her 3 young kids and even in the hustle & bustle they were so patient and kind to them. Highly recommend. Oh - and the banana bread is the best I’ve ever had
