Dough in the Box finally made the jump from suburban strip centers into the city, and South Downtown is where it landed. This Mitchell Street shop is its first real downtown location.
It's part of a small wave of new food spots filling in a block that sat mostly empty before South Downtown's renovation push. Grab a box on your way through and see what the fuss is about.

I remember having dough in the box back when I lived up in Marietta. This would’ve been about eight years ago and I freaking loved their donuts. The customer service was always top-notch and they made me feel like I was a part of the family. When I found out that they were opening up and downtown, I was extremely excited. The customer service is just as amazing as I remember it up in Marietta and the donuts are filled with so much love and passion. The fact that I can come in here and they still remember my name and it makes me smile every time. If you’ve never had their donuts, I highly recommend going to this location and supporting their new endeavor in south downtown. You will not be disappointed by whatever you get.
