LA's cult egg sandwich chain lands in a Downtown Atlanta hotel lobby

Eggslut's first Atlanta shop sits on the ground floor of the Moxy Atlanta Downtown, slinging the LA chain's famous egg sandwiches and coddled egg jars onto Marietta Street. The rooftop bar Jagger Suite shares the same building, so you can eat first and drink later.

It's a hotel storefront rather than a standalone shop, which says a lot about downtown right now: developers are filling lobby-level units with national names like this one alongside local newcomers.

Wow I LOVE THIS PLACE. These sandwiches are so light, the bread is not hard or heavy at all. It was like biting into a pancake. I got the Fairfax and substituted the mayo with the honey mustard aioli and that was delicious. I love that they were able to do that for me, the service was amazing.

Loved getting a late snack here while staying at the Moxy and watching the football. This is a cool location inside the Moxy hotel. Service was absolutely first class - Raleek in particular was super friendly, attentive, and brought my food right to where I was sitting - over and above service! People like that truly make a difference

Great experience!!! We were walking for almost an hour looking for a place to eat and out of all places we found this one right in the lobby of our hotel. The service was great and the food was amazing. The kitchen manager came to our table too. Very cool guy.

Manny has amazing customer service! Very hospitable. We arrived approx 15 mins before closing and he was full of energy, as if the establishment was freshly opening. Hard to find personal, good service these days. Food was delicious! Will be returning, as Downtown Atlanta locals and regulars! 10/10 A+ Highly recommend
