Haitian, French and Thai flavors collide in Midtown
Thirty-five seats, one chef, three cuisines that shouldn't work together but do. Jonny Rhodes builds his menu around Haitian and French Creole cooking, then threads Thai flavors through it, in the old DaVinci's space.
There's nothing else like it in Midtown. Order the cocktails anyway, the bar program is entirely non-alcoholic and just as chef-driven as the food.

There are not a lot of Haitian restaurants in Atlanta so I excited when I ran across this one and they did not disappoint! My husband and I had dinner at alonetogether one Friday evening and we will be back. We had the Kalalou soup which was rich, had a depth of flavor without being too heavy. For our main course we had the ribeye. It was well aged and seasoned, supremely flavorful. Chef’s take on the classic Haitian dish of Diri Djon Djon was unexpected and delicious- definitely not what we’d get with family but an elevated and appreciated take on a classic. I appreciated the care that they’ve taken on their NA drink menu- these are well crafted drinks not just juice and soda water. We also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the chef and I can’t wait to come back as the menu evolves.

Alonetogether is already one of Atlanta’s essential tables. The food is precise without being fussy, the service attentive in the way that actually matters — personal rather than performative. But what sets this apart is the room itself: live music threaded through a carefully curated drinks program, creating the kind of atmosphere most restaurants spend years trying to manufacture. Atlanta should pay attention.

A wonderful dinner in this new and unique restaurant. Christa and chef Johnny have created not only an interesting ambiance with their eclectic appointments , but their dinners are a blend of Haitian and French Creole cuisine that are delicious and will not be found anywhere else. We had the heirloom tomato salad and chili moules frites and highly recommend them.

Dining at alonetogether was an unforgettable experience. Every detail reflected intention, creativity, and genuine hospitality. The mocktails (Passionfruit & Blood Orange; Black Pepper & Earl Grey) were exceptionally crafted with fresh, authentic ingredients that allowed the natural flavors of the fruits to shine. The Ribeye Au Poivre was outstanding, with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and remarkable depth of flavor. Learning that the beef comes from the owners’ family farm made the experience even more meaningful. But what impressed us most was the originality of the menu. Nothing felt copied or familiar for the sake of trend. Each dish and drink reflected the owners’ cultural influences, world travels, and thoughtful approach to food. Speaking with the chef and owners, hearing their story behind the restaurant, the chef’s childhood inspirations, and the vision for the menu added a rare level of authenticity and connection. Atlanta is fortunate to have a restaurant like this. Alonetogether is more than just a place to eat, it’s a carefully curated culinary experience. We’re grateful for the talent, creativity, and care the owners have brought to the city and can’t wait to return!

Hands down one of the most curated dining experiences in Atlanta. Every dish was so intentional, layered flavor, and the chef himself comes out to walk you through each plate. Loved the intimacy and personalization of the restaurant.
