CTR Food Works packs a handful of independent vendors under one roof inside The CTR, the redeveloped former CNN Center. Grab a plate, then find the bar next door that its operators call the largest in Georgia.

It sits right across from Centennial Olympic Park and State Farm Arena, so it's built for the crowd walking out of a game or concert with nowhere else to go.

Was surprised how empty this place was during lunch hour. Tons of options but noticed pizza boxes from most people so went that direction. Talked with the person in charge (not sure owner/manager but certainly appeared owner they way he cared about the food) of flora d’Italia and he sold me on burrata/pistachio pizza. It was delicious. Perfect crust/dough and great combo of flavors. Highly recommend.

We almost turned around when we approached the entrance - very uninviting. Mixed experiences on food. There is decent food choice but the place is nearly deserted. We got franks (nasty service), Chinese food (friendly service, food so-so), caprese sandwich. It’s clean and quiet. Free WiFi.

I ordered the NYC chopped beef & cheese from Patty and Franks, it was so nasty, tasted like it was seasoned with taco seasoning, not enough cheese or meat. I would not recommend. But the fries were delicious
