Mexican food and a covered patio on Broad Street

Grab a margarita and claim a spot on the covered patio, one of the better perches on this stretch of Broad Street. El Tesoro serves Mexican food with cocktails and beer in a corner of South Downtown that used to be warehouses and parking lots.

It sits near Broad Street BBQ and Brewhouse Cafe, part of a wave of storefronts reopening in the district after decades sitting empty.
