Fine-dining Indian food lands at Atlantic Station
Chef-driven Indian cooking isn't what you expect from a district full of chain restaurants, which is exactly why Ikara stands out. The plates aim higher than anything else nearby on the block.
It's part of a bigger shift: Atlantic Station is pulling in more ambitious kitchens, riding the same spring 2026 wave that brought new openings to Buckhead and West Midtown a few miles away.

First time trying Indian cuisine and I was not disappointed. Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. I sat at the bar and Derrick is phenomenal. The drinks are perfect, doesn’t matter which one you order. I tried the mango lassi (phenomenal) and the kohraf (sensational). For starters the cheese and onion bread and soup were fresh and got my taste buds flowing. Followed by the main dish, butter chicken with a side of lemon rice. 10/10. The food is great. The ambiance is perfect for solo vibes, family night, girls night out or a special date night. Ask for the Derrick at the bar!!

Absolutely loved this place. The ambiance was amazing. The music was at perfect volume. The food was phenomenal! The drinks were 10/10. The price point made sense. I will definitely be back here. Our waitress Shivani was amazing and so knowledgeable about the menu.

Beautiful restaurant and service. Our waitress Shibani was super friendly and knew the menu well! She offered great suggestions throughout our meal and was very attentive to our party. There was a lot of thought put into the cocktail menu and they were great but were inconsistent in flavor and presentation—I think they are still trying out different ways to make some cocktails, which was fine. The variations of the same drink tasted great. I will say the bartender places WAY too much ice in the cocktails and it takes away from the flavor. They also had great desserts however they didn’t have chai to go with it. Chai is a NECESSITY with Indian desserts, so that was a bit disappointing. All in all, I would return because the food was great! I also hope to see how things improve next time I visit!

I always wanted ATL to have more fine dining Indian restaurants and finally my prayers were heard. Ikara is a stunning fine dining restaurant. The interiors, the design and architecture all top notch. Totally gives you five star luxury vibes. Everything from the wall papers, the archways, the plates, the furniture ooze finesse and luxury. The menu is very interesting, I was also told that the menu would keep changing. The current menu covers cuisines from across the sub continent, there are dishes featuring Tamil nadu, Maharashtra, lucknow, Goa etc. Their drinks menu was more exciting, the twist with the train stations was enjoyable. The mocktails we tried were the noor e berry and Rose lassi. My wife loved the Rose lassi, it was perfectly balanced not too sweet right amount sour from the curd. The noor e berry was refreshing as mentioned in the menu. We then tried the Murgh malai kebab and the veg sabz pardah paired with mixed kulchas and roomali roti. Everything tasted so good. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, the sabz was delicious, not too much masala well balanced again. We went a little late and couldn't order from the desserts menu, but the host offered us a dessert on the house. It was their take on a coconut burfi with ice cream and berry compote. My wife loved the burfi, I didn't enjoy it much. Totally liked the food and would go back.
