Champagne and wine bar in the citizenM, open since August 2025.
Hotel bars in Boston are usually dark and leather-bound. Bubble Bath, which opened in the citizenM on Newbury in August 2025, went the other way: bright, small, built around sparkling wine by the glass.
There is a by-the-glass champagne pour that costs less than the equivalent at any Back Bay hotel five minutes away. That is the reason to come.

I’m shocked this spot doesn’t have higher reviews because we absolutely love this bar. I’ve been 4 times so far this summer and every instance has been phenomenal. The food is delicious, the drinks are wonderful, and the service is usually good (shoutout to Emily in particular who is always friendly and warm). The prices are high but the views are *THE BEST* in Boston. I’m a local and I’ve never seen the city look as beautiful as it does from this rooftop. I’m so grateful this place exists! Whether you’re a local or tourist, I really don’t think people should miss this place.

Wow! What a drink and a view Enter the citizenM door, hang a left to the express elevator to the rooftop. Plenty of signage to do so. R (15th floor) has amazing views of the back Bay and water We ordered 2 cocktails and they were completely novel and delicious. Last-Last highly recommend for gin drinkers Service was excellent. Definitely bring your date here to impress or to take a break from exploring the city by foot

Went after work on a Monday and had a great time! Service was great. It was about halfway full so we could easily hear each other. We made a reservation in advance, but that’s probably not necessary on a Monday. We got 3 cocktails to split between 2 people, and each was great!

Great view And nice decor We were unlucky with the wines we picked (and yes we got a sample and approved but both did not like the wine for a full glass (note to self Spanish rose bubbles/ cava) and the vermentino) We will be back to give the wines a second chance as the view is amazing Also with all places in Boston being so busy we did not understand why this place was only 30% busy But maybe the fancy caviar focused snack menu is not for everyone Also there seems to only one real entree on the menu (steak frites) and pictures from other reviews did not look very appealing

Had a great evening trying out different wines and champagnes on the menu. The “wine flight” option is the perfect way to sample. The food options are more for snacking, so just be prepared for that. The fries, cod cheeks, and tuna tartare with chips paired well with the different drinks we ordered. The views of the city are spectacular and I can’t wait to come back on a warmer night to enjoy the patio!
