Coffee shop on South Street, open since January 2026.

Viza opened on South Street in January 2026, in the quieter half of Jamaica Plain near the Forest Hills end. Small room, espresso-led, a handful of pastries on the counter.

Mornings it's a laptop cafe. It empties out after lunch. Go after two if you want a table.

Great neighborhood cafe vibes! Plenty of seating throughout and I loved the big comfy window seat in the front. Got the blue paradise refresher and it was perfect. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so.

This has become my new go to spot in JP! Comfortable seating and great lattes! The staff is so kind and can make a mean latte, currently obsessed with Dulce's Latte (iced and it comes with dulce de leche foam ☺️).

Wonderful new cafe in Jamaica Plain. The oat cappuccino and peach iced tea we're both very tasty. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. The cafe has plenty of seating and beautiful, cozy decor.

The drinks were fantastic. They have Colombian coffee and it’s excellent. Well-prepared and balanced. Secondly, an unexpected surprise- THEIR MUFFINS ARE AMAZING. Ask for it warmed and thank me later :) We tried the lemon poppyseed and the pistachio. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely will come again.

I’ve visited this coffee shop a couple of times and I love it. The last time was on a Saturday at 9 am. The place itself is very warm, cozy, and modern—well-lit with soft music, making it perfect for conversation. The service is awesome; they are all very nice and accommodating. The coffee and food were delicious—we ordered an Americano, hot latte, iced latte, smoothie, almojábanas (Colombian cheese pastries), the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, and banana bread. They also have a private room for up to six people that you can rent by the hour, which I hope to use soon. I’m looking forward to coming back many more times!
