Portuguese custard tarts by South Station, open since May 2026.

Joey Bats built the business on pastéis de nata in New York before opening at 700 Atlantic Avenue in May 2026, directly across from South Station. Tarts come out of the oven in batches through the day.

Ask when the next batch is due rather than taking one off the tray. Warm is a completely different pastry.
