Bambola

Italian supper club on Northern Avenue, open since March 2026.
Bambola opened on Northern Avenue in March 2026 as a supper club, which here means the room dims and the volume climbs as the night goes on. Italian menu, heavy on pasta made in house.
It shares the address with The Girl Next Door from the same group. One is a sit-down dinner, the other is street food, and they are easy to confuse when booking.

We went while this place was still very new. And even in the early days they have things figured out better than some of the Boston places that have been around for five years or more. Bambola has started with the bar at a very high place and I have no doubt it’ll go even higher. Mark my words. Pre-dinner drinks at The Girl Next Door was a delight and the quality of the food for dinner was top notch. I truly can’t wait to go back. Keep up the good work guys. You’re onto something.

Sat in the Bambola side, didn’t get the chance to check out The Girl Next Dolr. Atmosphere and decor is very cool and great for a date night. Service was fast and polite too. Food was good, but definitely overpriced for the portion sizes.

I had the opportunity to dine at Bambola for a birthday dinner, a two-in-one spot... Bambola a full on restaurant offering Italian cuisine. The Girl Next Door was given bar top standing room only. The bouncer was nice and directed you accordingly. The hostess were welcoming and seated us right away. Our waiter greeted us promptly and was attentive throughout our reservation. The drinks... I recommend the hot & dirty martini and spicy guava margarita. I would not recommend the lychee martini. For food we started with the fired burrata which was ok. The bread basket was fresh. The meatballs were the star of the night. The main dishes were the lobster ravioli and risotto de mare. The ravioli dish was tasty but needed some crushed pepper flakes to round it off. The risotto was creamy but after a few bites comes off salty. To round off the night we had the tiramisu which was very soggy. The atmosphere was nice and gives off very girly in a good way. However if you want to have a conversation be prepared to yell. Overall I would go for drinks, not necessarily the food.

Had such a great night at Bambola! The lobster raviolis were absolutely incredible, the Paloma Rosata cocktail was delicious, and the espresso martinis were some of the best we’ve had. Dessert was amazing, and the entire experience from start to finish was top notch. The decor is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed with such an elegant vibe. Our waitress was so attentive and had fantastic recommendations throughout the night. Mike, the floor manager, was constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect and was incredibly welcoming and kind. The music and overall vibe made the night even better. After dinner we headed over to The Girl Next Door for a fun night with a great band, which was the perfect way to end the evening. Definitely recommend checking both out!

I didn’t have food so I left that out of the review. We just happened to be walking by and the glass walls of the bar open up completely to the street so it’s super appealing. The decor was cool. I had a shot a lychee martini and a lemon drop. Drinks were good. Music was good. Atmosphere was a vibe. We had a great time. $20 ish per drink. Pretty normal. We sat at the bar. The bartender was available but not bothering us. I enjoyed it. A short walk from the Hyatt place Boston seaport. Seems like it would be a great vibe on a warmer day.
