The Florentine schiacciata sandwich shop, and the queue that follows it.
The Florence original has been photographed more than most restaurants in Tuscany, and the Boston branch opened at 565 Boylston in November 2025 with the queue arriving on day one. Sandwiches are built on schiacciata bread with mortadella, truffle cream, stracciatella and so on.
They are enormous. One split between two people is the standard local move, and the line is shortest right before closing.
