Cafe Noodo

★ 4.3 · 56 reviews Boston Opened February 2026

Hand-pulled noodle shop by North Station, open since February 2026.

Cafe Noodo opened on Nashua Street in February 2026, close enough to TD Garden that game nights change the entire character of the room. Noodles are pulled to order.

Go two hours before a Bruins game or well after it ends. In between, the line isn't worth it.

The portions were very generous, with plenty of both noodles and meat. The meat was fresh, tender, and high quality. The restaurant was also very clean. Also, you can choose no cilantro for noodles loll.

Very yummy and authentic Chinese food! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much more than typical American Chinese food when I walked in, but my friend and I were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and the environment was great. We originally stopped by for a quick bite but ended up having a full meal because everything looked so good. The space is large and comfortable, which made the experience even better. My favorite dish was the braised beef noodle with marinated egg — it tasted just like how I’ve had it in China. I also highly recommend the fresh soy milk, which is not something you can easily find done this well in Boston. It’s rare to find this level of authentic Chinese food here. Highly recommend!

A bold concept for the area. Rather than catering to the typical West End pre-game crowd with familiar Americanized Chinese like lo mein, or going for a SweetGreen style health halo, they are going full "authentic" fast-casual with a focus on Lanzhou-style noodles. My friend and I recently came on an off-game day, and as expected, the dining room was mostly empty. We got a takeout of some of their popular menu like Braised beef noodle soup, Tomato Egg noodles, and some small bites, but everything was mediocre at best. First off, both noodles were overcooked. With essentially zero sauce, the tomato and egg noodles were really bland, and without any liquid or residual broth for those thick, overcooked noodles to absorb, the entire bowl felt disjointed and flavorless. The Braised Beef Noodle was marginally better, but still just decent. The broth had a good baseline flavor, but the beef was overcooked. It low key tasted like they braised it first thing in the morning and just let it sit in a hot holding pot all day. For sides, we got lamb skewers and crispy chicken bites. The lamb skewers were cooked so far past well-done that they were legitimately half jerky. The chicken bites were the most decent thing we ordered, but even those cut corners. The bottom 20% of the basket was literally just empty, hollow fried batter with no chicken inside. It’s nice to see a different concept in a neighborhood that usually runs on sports bars and slice shops. But right now, the food just seems entirely out of sync.

Cafe Noodo is a decent option for a pre-TD garden meal, but I wouldn't choose it otherwise. The beef noodle soups had pretty good flavor in the broth, but the noodles were lackluster -- no spring or chewiness, just dough. The beef was a lot more tender in the braised beef noodle soup than the Lanzhou. The fried chicken was crispy but didn't have any flavor on its own, and the only sauce it came with was a sweet chili sauce. The seaweed salad is probably the Costco seaweed salad -- a solid option, but $5. The jasmine milk tea tasted heavily of creamer. Would not get again. Overall none of the items we tried quite hit the mark.
