Michael made our night. He was warm, attentive, and knew exactly how to guide the meal without making it feel formal or stuffy. The food was also absolutely fantastic... beautiful plating, great flavors, and every dish felt special. The patio atmosphere was perfect for a summer night just off the Harbor. Easy 5 stars!

So happy this second location Is finally fully open as it is lovely! Buildout was done beautifully, seriously impeccable! Lucas our bartender is the absolute best! He cannot do enough for any of his guests and he is THE reason we initially went in! Appetizers of lamb lollipops and lobster nuggets is how we started and literally could have stopped there and been happy! The most amazing tastes I could Imagine! Cooked to perfection and literally perfect portions! Cannot wait to put it into our rotation and go back! Love beacon hill but love seaport more cuz u get the Lucas bonus!

We live in Boston and we were walking by. Such fantastic service all around especially since we did not have a reservation. Elegant, casual outdoor area. Lorenzo was fantastic and compliments to the Chef. Delicious and rivaled all in the North End. Thank You!

Fantastic cocktails at this restaurant. I had a yellow frothy martini which was delicious. I also had the salty cosmo, which was very good too. My partner and I split the caesar salad. I loved the lemon and caesar balance in the salad. The shrimp scampi was delicious with a little kick to it. Generous portion of shrimp, with six large pieces. Music was balanced. The service at the bar was excellent! Very friendly and knowledgeable too. Play some Frank Sinatra music when Rich DiMare and his band plays at Summer in the City at the Boston Harbor Hotel this summer.

From the moment you walk into this restaurant, you feel a welcoming ambiance—every detail is beautifully thought out, from the lamps to the plates and everything in between. We stopped in on a whim while passing by and assumed we’d be turned away without a reservation, but Ella graciously found a way to fit us in after a short wait. While we waited, we sat at the bar where Lucas and Ian mixed up some of the most delightful cocktails we’ve ever had. Once seated, we ordered the oysters, shrimp scampi, and Brussels sprouts—every single dish was exceptional. As incredible as the food was, it was the team at 1928 who truly made the experience unforgettable. Jay, Liz, and the rest of the staff made us feel as though they had been expecting us all along. The restaurant was full, yet somehow they made us feel like we were the only people there—so warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail felt intentional and perfectly executed. It was also my birthday, and I truly couldn’t have imagined a better place to start my 56th year 🎉
