Novo Marketplace

★ 4.1 · 93 reviews Boston Opened May 2026

International food hall on Brighton Avenue, open since May 2026.

Novo Marketplace opened on Brighton Avenue in May 2026 with a set of counters covering several cuisines under one roof. Allston's student population makes a food hall an easier sell here than downtown.

Stalls keep their own hours. Evenings are when everything is actually running.

Lots of options for food and drinks vendors. We had some Indian food - decent taste but portion size was small, Indonesian food - very delicious soup and chicken skewers, the Zhengxin chicken steak which is a popular Chinese chain, with suspiciously tender chicken, maybe a little better than most US chicken sandwich chains, and finally Mollytea which had just opened this week and they are running a promotion of buy one get one free this week and was very busy

We recently ordered foods from Noodle Lab. The name of restaurant doesn't seem authentic, but it's actually very decent (as photos). If you don't know what else to eat, I would say you can give it a try. The only con is this place is the AC is not strong enough, so I give 4 stars.

There are around 16 different food stalls, so you can grab everything from Fluffy Fluffy soufflé pancakes to Mi Nori handrolls all in one go. Quality is decent across the board, and the prices are actually pretty good for the neighborhood. Only major heads-up: the AC isn’t fully set up yet, so it gets pretty hot and stuffy inside right now. Still a super cool, casual spot to snack around with friends, but maybe grab an iced tea first or plan for a quick takeout situation until they get the cooling situation sorted!

Since soft opening - I went to Novo market -such a wonderful place to hang out with friends- clean and varieties cuisine - Specially at Tasya Kitchen - Street Food - the 1st Indonesian Restaurant in Boston. The food portion is huge , price reasonable, taste of home Indonesian cooking that need a lot of spices and takes time to prepare - Shall try their Rendang and Combo spring menu - specially their Sate Ayam - People are waiting 1 hr before their opening time - specially weekend rush hour date Ayam and Rendang are to be Sold out - Rendang is an Indonesian stew is simmered with tons of spices and cooked almost for 4-6 hrs in slow heat - meats are so tendered with full body of traditional aromatic Indonesian spices-

Amazing tasya kitchen Indonesian restaurant! The food was authentic, flavorful, and reminded me of home. Every dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Indonesian food. I will definitely come back!
