George Mendes' Portuguese tasting-menu room, arriving summer 2026.

George Mendes made his name at Aldea in Manhattan, cooking Portuguese food that was neither rustic nor apologetic. Agosto is his Boston project on Washington Street, announced for summer 2026 as a tasting-menu room.

A bakery cafe from the same team, Baby Sister, is slated for the unit next door later in the year. Neither is open yet, so check before you make the trip.
