Allegro Ma Non Troppo
★ 4.9 · 290 reviews Miami Opened May 2026
Handmade-pasta led Italian cooking on South Miami Avenue since May 2026.
Allegro Ma Non Troppo, fast but not too fast, opened on South Miami Avenue in May 2026, in the Mary Brickell Village stretch that turns over restaurants faster than most of Miami.
The cooking is northern Italian and handmade-pasta led. The name is a joke about pacing; the service takes it seriously.

INCREDIBLE!! Dayanas was great! Food was AMAZING. The lasagna and Caesar salad were the best part 🤩

What a great experience at Allegro ma non Troppo! I really loved their tapas-style concept, where all the dishes are placed in the center of the table so everyone can share with friends and family. It creates such a fun and welcoming dining experience. We ordered the Wagyu Lazy Lasagna, the Alla Milanese, and the oven-roasted potatoes, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Happy hour with great Apperol Spritz and Limoncello, half price from noon to 7pm. A special shoutout to Dayanna, who provided outstanding customer service. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and even took the time to show us where the restrooms were, making us feel truly welcome. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a warm, cozy atmosphere that really feels like home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Based on their Instagram presence, I expected something truly special. The restaurant projects an air of exclusivity—no phone number, no reservations, and plenty of hype—so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the image. The Caesar salad was overdressed and covered with so much cheese that it overwhelmed the dish. The skinny margarita flatbread honestly reminded me of a supermarket baguette topped with sauce and cheese. It lacked the texture, flavor, and quality I expected from a restaurant with such a strong reputation. The creamed spinach was also underwhelming and forgettable. With a menu this limited, every item should be outstanding. Instead, most of what we tried felt average at best. To be fair, the service was very good, and there were a few creative touches that I appreciated. The atmosphere is fun, and the concept is interesting. However, when a restaurant creates this much hype and exclusivity, the food should be the star of the show.

This restaurant changed hands recently, we stopped by to check it out, enjoyed the great lasagna Wagyu Bolognese Lazy Lasagna with a glass of Pinot Grigio. Nella took care of us and did a great job! Love the music they were playing. Very helpful team members. Will return soon.

What a wonderful addition to Brickell! My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner and were immediately charmed by the warm, cozy atmosphere. Even though it wasn’t busy at the time, the space felt inviting and intimate rather than empty. The concept is refreshingly simple, a minimalistic menu where you tick your selections with a pencil, and dishes are served as they’re prepared. Everything was delicious and they have very reasonable prices for both food and beverages (and a daily Happy Hour on drinks from 4-7pm). The restaurant has a unique feel that transports you somewhere between a neighborhood spot in Italy and a hidden gem in San Francisco, certainly not what you’d expect on South Miami Avenue. I truly believe this will become a neighborhood favorite because it’s exactly the kind of place Brickell needs. Whether it’s a date night, catching up with friends, or a one-on-one meeting, it strikes the perfect balance of casual, comfortable, and special. Wishing the team every success. We’ll definitely be back! PS: forgot to take pics except for the dessert :)
