The 1914 Hollywood original's first outpost, on the Gale Miami rooftop downtown.

Yamashiro has looked down on Hollywood since 1914 and never opened anywhere else, until 29 October 2025, when it took over the rooftop of the Gale Miami Hotel & Residences downtown.

The menu leans meat and seafood, Japanese in spirit: wagyu katsu sandos, lobster in miso beurre blanc, a martini cart that comes to the table. Sunset tables book out weeks ahead.

We had such a wonderful experience dining in this restaurant.. Miami vibes, of course🤌🏼 The food is super fresh straight from Japan and service is exceptional.. Wilson, our server was very kind and hard-working plus the manager Adonis was also great! I highly suggest this place to have a beautiful evening

I was so impressed with this place! I HIGHLY recommend. The vibe, the food, and the drinks were a 10/10. Not to mention that JAVIER, the manager, was extremely kind. He was so attentive to our experience and if we were enjoying. Worth every single penny!

Had a spectacular experience at this restaurant! Kathy was nothing short of excellence! Every course that came to the table was beautifully delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t experienced this gem, to do so.

Kevin was our server and he was great. Very attentive and brought everything at just the right time. My only complaint is that we made reservations for 2 and the hostess told us to have a seat for a minute but then she forgot about us because people kept coming in and they were all being seated.

Christopher was very kind. He made good recommendations. Service was a little slower than I would have expected but otherwise the food was incredible, ambiance and environment was wonderful.
