A pizzeria on the MiMo strip, opened April 2026
Pizza Tropical opened on 7 April 2026 on the Biscayne Boulevard MiMo strip, the stretch of 1950s motels that has slowly turned into the Upper East Side's restaurant row.
The pies are thin and blistered, the room small, the setting pure old Biscayne. Delivery runs later than the dining room.

Love this place. Great pizza and vibes. Everything on the menu is awesome including the beer selection. Will definitely be going back soon.

The best pizza in Miami. Love the place when they were in Gramps in Wynwood. Just as good in a standalone location. Unbelievable choices, including vegetarian even vegan options. You can buy pizza by the slice or the entire thing. So many different toppings to choose from. The staff is super friendly and nice and helpful. They walk the pizza right out to you. Place to sit inside and outside plus there’s parking in the area. Wonderful place.

price to value ratio is lacking. I gave it 3 stars for the flavor of the slice but for $7 the pizza should at least be hot when you eat it onsite. Mine was like warm and tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile.

Hi there, I could write an elaborate and Long review or just keep it short and sweet! I've been driving by Pizza tropical for last couple weeks and I was very familiar with the location in Wynwood as I used to go to Liverpool FC Miami supporter, group games, and Live concert concerts but I think it's even better now! Of course the atmosphere is different but they have a nice in side seating with AC and a couple tables outside. What I love about this pizza the most is that is most probably the best Hawaiian pizza I had in a long time. It had a perfect amount of sauce and spice and the crust and the bottom was perfect! The other half of the pie I got the mushroom and that was also excellent, super tasty! Maybe I wasn't too short after all, but please check this place out, I'll be making this stop often on the way back home from downtown to Miami Shores!

One of the best pizza spots in Miami. Can’t say enough how good it is. Pepperoni pizza was packed with meat and the flavor was phenomenal. The staff is exceptional as well. Good people with great service.
