Once in a while, you come across a place that just feels right, taste wonderful, and you walk away with a smile from ear to ear. This is one of those places. First time visitor, and definitely not my last, even though I do not live in the area. I tried another well known bakery in the area and it didn’t quite hit the right note, but Moulin does. From the location which is tucked away in the middle of a retail complex to the “new” coffee shop / bakery vibe, to the friendly staff, to the outdoor seating, and to the visually and tasteful pasties and cappuccino, everything is on point. Cappuccino was served in the appropriate size and hit the right caffeine note. The pastries were not too sweet but oh so flaky and wonderful with each bite. We loved it so much that we started with 4 items and ended up buying 8 more for the road. Of special note. the passionfruit flan was delightful. Tangy, bright, and sweet in flavor. This is a must visit!!!!

I had some business with Walter over at Schwab, and was a little early and noticed they had an assortment of pastries on the the table that looked heavily. I helped myself to what looked like a cupcake size apple fritter, but it was more similar to a pie with cinnamon apple, with caramel cream cheese..think cinnamon apple caramel cheese cake in puff pastry, it was amazing! I could have eaten a dozen of them! I asked about them, and was told they're from the Moulin Bakery across the street. WOW! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s

Arrived around 8:00 AM to find easy, unmetered parking directly on the street. While the line moved very efficiently with only about three patrons ahead of me, the outdoor courtyard tables were completely occupied—a testament to the morning draw. Upon viewing the display case, the immediate visual takeaway is the relatively small scale of the pastries. However, any structural reservations disappear on impact: every item purchased demonstrated the precise, shattering crispness you expect from high-tier laminate work. The butter croissant is exceptional, delivering one of the most definitive shattering crusts I have encountered in the Bay Area. The crumb matrix is technically precise, and a clean, deep aromatic profile of quality butter is ever-present from the first bite. The Vanilla Flan is equally outstanding, showing a flawless balance between its crisp pastry shell and a silky, well-calibrated custard texture. While it is not the most expansive menu selection in the region, Moulin clearly prioritizes top-tier quality control over raw volume. Supported by friendly, efficient front-of-house service, this is a highly recommended stop if you are in the area.

The smell of fresh baked pastries and delicious coffee creations, I’m a fan! We enjoyed a morning latte and fresh pastries while enjoying a little sunshine. The only things that bothered me was the seating and the long wait (busy place with limited seating in the sun).

Lovely coffee shop! BEAUTIFUL PASTRIES!! Had an oat latte and it held up but the pastries shine here. Also they sell full baguettes with French butter! DELISH!!!
