Babysips' second wine bar, now with Brazilian flair

Same tight wine list that made Babysips work, dropped into a new room on Troutman Street with a Brazilian streak running through the food and the mood.

Bushwick has more wine bars than almost anything else these days, so the editing is the point. Small room, short list, nothing wasted.

Very small limited menu but fish and salad was tasty. Not excellent but not bad. Large bottle list, glasses mostly for those who enjoy skin contact types. Cocktails were not great and very small. Overall I didn’t care for this place bc the staff and interior were not all welcoming. It felt cold and impersonal. Nothing about the place was warm or welcoming. One staff member looked like she was in her pajamas and had a scowl on the whole time. No one provided insight on the menu or provided suggestions as the how big plates were etc. I thought this was a wine bar with Spanish influenced food but was told by waitress it’s actually Brazilian…. Salad I had was Argula with nectarines and Parmesan on top. Nothing about it seemed Brazilian. It seems like a concept not fully developed with poorly trained staff.

Great new place in Bushwick! I visited with a group of friends for dinner. The interior is decorated really well and has a cool vibe, and we were able to sit outside and have dinner on the benches in the garden space, which is also really pleasant. We had to order our food at the bar in order to sit outside, but it wasn’t a problem. The servers were super attentive even though we were the only table outside. The food is all amazing and such great quality. The standouts for me were the bread (still thinking about the butter - so good), and the steak. One my friends said it was the best steak he’s had in NYC. The servers were really helpful when we were deciding on a bottle of wine and let us do a mini tasting. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely love this spot. Everyone who works there is so friendly. Great neighborhood restaurant kind of vibes. Best amaro spritz, too. Been multiple times and doesn’t disappoint.

Was super excited to try this place, but unfortunately was let down by the service…both the hostess and our waitress were not friendly and the hostess either snapped as us or at the bartender who asked if we had been helped yet as she was setting up our table but we had barely said 2 words to anyone when that happened. Food was good! I’d try it again, but hopefully would have a better experience the second time. One cocktail was great, the other one was okay. I’d like to come back and try their wines!
