Shaken Ovaltine and pineapple buns
Skip the flat white and order the shaken Ovaltine instead, with or without espresso. This Seventh Avenue shop started as a pop-up and grew into a full Cantonese-inspired coffee counter with an actual point of view.
Pineapple buns and egg tarts back up the drinks. It's the kind of place that makes you rethink what a coffee shop menu can look like.
Good to know
- The shaken Ovaltine is the signature. Espresso is optional.

Super cute canto-inspired coffee shop. Drinks were delicious and I really liked the Marinated Egg Salad Sandwich, felt really unique. Definitely need to come on the weekends for their Corn Butter Mochi! Staff and vibes were great!

One of the best coffee shops I have ever tried. Top Coffeeshop in Brooklyn/ParkSlope for sure. The service was amazing and caring. I believe the co-owners were there, and they were so amicable and knowledgeable on all the food and drinks, so descriptive that I wanted to try everything! That Ovaltine drink, BANGER!!!! Brought back childhood memories.

A new cafe in Park Slope, just a 5 minute walk from the subway. They have all the classic cafe drinks, but they also serve Hong Kong milk tea and, surprisingly, Ovaltine too! Their buns were great. I paid extra for add-ons: a pineapple bun with salted egg kaya jam, and a piggy bun with scallion oil. They were served warm to the table. The pineapple bun's crust was perfectly crispy, while the piggy bun with scallion oil was amazing. It reminded me of how I used to mix scallion oil with rice, it works so well with the piggy bun! In the background, they played plenty of popular Hong Kong songs, ranging from the nostalgic vibes of 白光 (Bai Guang) to classics by 鄧麗君 (Teresa Teng), 許冠傑 (Sam Hui), 林子祥 (George Lam), 劉德華 (Andy Lau), 草蜢 (Grasshopper), and more.
