Internet-famous vintage seller lands a real shopfront on Manhattan Ave

Moody Goose built its following online first, where its grand-opening announcement alone pulled thousands of likes. Then it opened doors at 580 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, joining a fall wave of independent shops across north Brooklyn.

The racks carry hand-picked vintage with an eye for statement pieces over filler, the kind that built the following in the first place. Like most good vintage shops it runs on drops, new stock posted to followers as it comes in, so pieces turn over within days.

Such a cute store with a huge variety of styles and constantly getting in new items! Highly recommend if you’re in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area!

Best vintage store ever. I’ve gotten so many loved pieces here from jackets to dresses to vests. Prices are reasonable and they also have sick watch rings and necklaces. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Can someone help me understand the vintage space? I went with my wife and we paid $55 for a pair of overalls that they sell at Walmart for $30, exact same piece. Am I missing something?

Love Moody!! My favorite vintage store in the city. They always have new items. Love their t-shirts and great selection for men’s / unisex clothes too. Highly recommend!!

One of my favorite vintage stores in the area!!! They have such a wide selection and such unique pieces, I spent a good hour in there last time. Owner is super sweet and she told me it’s family owned so it feels good to support them. Great prices too!
