A Providence leather studio's first store, hand-stitched and vegetable-tanned

Structured bags cut and stitched by hand, in vegetable-tanned leather that ages like it means it. This Boerum Hill shop is the first brick-and-mortar for the Providence label, landing on the design-shop stretch of Atlantic Avenue.

Creative director Lindy McDonough runs it as a studio outpost, not a showroom. The space debuted a dedicated Studio Collection during NYCxDesign, and the room itself carries 23-karat gold detailing. Expect prices that match the handwork.

Good to know

Open Wednesday through Sunday, 12-6pm.
The vegetable-tanned leather darkens and softens with use; the pale pieces you see in store are the before picture.

The customer service in the shop was wonderful - Soo walked me through all sorts of different colors and options and I ended up leaving with a bag that wasn’t even on my original radar when I came in. Truly a lovely experience and one I hope to replicate in the future!

What a charming store! They sell beautiful leather handbags, clothes, and other elegant goods. The staff is fantastic, and the manager is super helpful. Highly recommend, I absolutely love my wallet!

Beautiful leather goods of the HIGHEST quality made in Rhode Island! They also carry an amazing selection of jewelry and clothing, etc. of small designers that are hard to find. The customer service is top notch!!! Soo, Kat and even the owner and founder Lindy are there to help with any questions and to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. *They even personalize the bags with monograms right in the back of the shop! So cool!

The most beautiful store! It is such a joy to peruse the gorgeous bags and curated clothing/objects in this warm and welcoming space. I also get non-stop compliments on the bag I purchased!
