400 rooms reborn from Hotel Kinetic, two minutes from Universal

Monarch Alternative Capital gutted the old Hotel Kinetic and rebuilt it as a Tribute Portfolio property, four hundred rooms in teal and orange geometry from designer Parker Torres. The restaurants come from APICII, the group behind the Setai Miami Beach.

The signature bar is named for Émilie du Châtelet, the mathematician behind the physics that underpins roller coasters. It's a sharp choice two minutes from Universal. Globe lights hang overhead as a nod to her work.

Good to know

Émilie Bar & Lounge is open to non-guests and is the part of the building worth a detour.
Rooms come with a fridge, and the hotel is walkable to nothing, budget for the shuttle or a car.

What a gem of a resort hotel in Orlando, Florida. The location is perfect in close proximity to Universal Studios and Disney World. The rooms are clean and practical. Service is excellent and amenities such as the gym and pool are top notch. They really do their best to accommodate their guests. The breakfast options and food quality is very good too. Parking is a bit expensive but I understand given the close proximity of the hotel to area attractions. I really look forward to staying here again!

The room was super clean. Booking was well priced. Amenities were nice but there are some areas visibly under construction. Ice and water machines did not work on any floors except for lobby. Staff was helpful, parking was decent and hotel is located around lots of things to do. Would stay again.

Umm WOW! 5 🌟’s for Hotel Landy & Adrian! This is my husband and I’s first vacation without kiddos in five years. Marriott really rolls out the red carpet at this location. Adrian was an absolute delight at check-in as we were super early. He let us know how long our wait time would be for our Junior suite and in the downtime, we enjoyed the pool, great Little car bar and lovely hotel lobby. This location is amazing! The view from our room is directly facing volcano Bay and universal theme park where I’m watching the roller coasters go by. The junior suite is super comfy and gives you just a little bit more room so that you can spread out and really enjoy the space and view. Can’t wait to come back!! 💕 THANK YOU ADRIAN

Travelled here late last summer with my family and it was nothing short of a perfect stay. The smell when you walk in was incredible. Hotel rooms were perfect clean and the view was amazing. Staff were exceptionally friendly, Location was great and the pool and outdoor lounge area was outstanding. There was a cool arcade And a Starbucks on site. Everything I hope for in a hotel and more! Close to absolutely everything. I wouldn’t even bother looking to stay at another hotel during our next trip to Orlando. Favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in

I stayed here last weekend and I couldn’t wait to leave a review! From the moment I walked in, the hotel smelled lovely and clean. Renae checked me in and omg, Her customer service is 10/10. She had recommendations on where to eat and enjoy my full time in Orlando! The staff here has immaculate communication to the guest and take pride in ensuring your stay is worth your time. My room was the Junior Suite on the 12th floor. I loved how spacious it was and extremely CLEAN!!! What stood out to me was how quiet it was here. I highly recommend going to the pool and enjoying the ambience outside. If you’re looking for a hotel thats near local attractions and walking distance, Hotel Landy is the place to be.
