Eleven course tasting menu in a ten seat room

Ten seats and eleven courses make this one of the smallest tasting menus in Orlando, Chef Bruno Fonseca working American and European technique into one changing lineup. A shorter four course version called Quatro exists for anyone not ready for the full run.

It sits between Leu Gardens and East End Market in Audubon Park. Reservations run through Tock, and Wednesday through Saturday is the only window to get one.

Truly an experience for an anniversary dinner. Chef Bruno describes and serves almost all the courses, which are all exquisite. It feels like you are the only couple in the dining room; you have his full attention. Do the wine pairing, it is well selected. Very highly recommend!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Foreigner and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in years. The 11-course Confiance Dinner (12 if you count the surprise birthday cake) lasted nearly four hours, yet somehow flew by. We sat at the end of the chef’s counter overlooking the kitchen, just a few feet from the stove, watching every plate come together while feeling completely immersed in the experience. Chef Bruno personally greeted us at the beginning of the evening, and throughout the meal shared stories behind several dishes, including his reimagined take on pasta vongole. Highlights included The Black Egg, foie gras tart with cooked bananas, hand-carved Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, and an extraordinary guinea hen that may have been the best poultry dish we’ve ever had. As wine lovers, we opted for the pairing and were rewarded with a thoughtful progression of wines throughout the evening. The standout was a Matt Taylor Komorebi Vineyard Pinot Noir that drank more like Burgundy than California. The attention to detail was remarkable. Tweezers seemed to be in constant use, even for ingredients like morels. The service was polished without ever feeling stiff, and despite sitting next to a working kitchen, the room remained comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The only small hiccup of the evening was that a foie gras supplement we had ordered with the lamb course was accidentally forgotten and brought out after we had already started eating. The team caught the mistake quickly, and considering the complexity of an eleven-course tasting menu with wine pairings and dietary accommodations, it was a minor miss in an otherwise exceptional experience. By the time we got home after midnight, neither of us wanted the evening to end. Foreigner isn’t just dinner. It’s an experience. Highly recommended.

This is the perfect small/intimate dining experience in all of Orlando in my opinion, from the moment you walk in the door you just know its going to be amazing. Hostess was an absolute delight and so friendly and professional. How Foreigner is not on the Michelin Star list yet I have no idea but it needs to be. Food is absolutely incredible and such an amazing variety and personal Chef twist on things that it makes me so excited to come back to see what we get next time. Chef Bruno was amazing along with the entire staff, you can see the respect and love for each other not only in their dishes but just how they all work as one cohesive team. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and I look forward to our next visit! A++

Beautiful, delicious, artful, experience. Friendly, unpretentious, yet poetic and elevating. The wine pairings were outstanding. The salad blew our minds and surrendered our palates. The Chef, hostess, and staff were so attentive, with a gentle supportive pampering presence. It was sublime. All the way to the private birthday cake and candle at the end. We will be back. Thank you Foreigner, thank you Chef and team, for making us feel so welcome in your foreign magical land. 💝
