Ballers

★ 4.6 · 54 reviews Philadelphia Opened September 2025

Sports club on North Beach Street with golf, pickleball and squash.

Ballers opened on North Beach Street in September 2025, a large sports bar and social club with indoor and outdoor golf plus racquet games including pickleball and squash. Several bars are spread across the space.

Food is cheesesteaks, including a vegan one, hot pretzel poppers and grilled chicken paillard. Book a court before you go, because turning up on a Saturday and expecting one open is optimistic.

Best pickleball in Philly! Amazing staff and great facility

Ballers Philadelphia is in a league of its own — and I don't say that lightly. From the moment you walk in, it's clear this place is something truly special. Let's start with the pros, because they are hands down the best in the city across every sport they offer — pickleball, padel, squash, and golf. Moose, the head padel pro, is an exceptional teacher. His clinics make the sport completely accessible no matter your level, and his energy is contagious. My husband has been taking golf lessons from Christian, who brings incredible knowledge and a real focus on proper form — he's already seen a huge improvement in his game. And if you haven't heard about Johny yet, you will — the new pickleball pro is already the talk of the town! Now, the venue itself. Ballers Philadelphia is housed in a stunning historic power plant building with 50-foot ceilings — it is an absolute architectural marvel. There is truly no cooler place in Philadelphia to pick up a racket or a club. The space is breathtaking and the atmosphere is unlike anything else in the city. The bar and restaurant is such a vibe. The cocktails are creative and the menu is delicious — perfect for refueling after a match or just lingering and connecting with fellow members. It's become one of my favorite spots to hang out post-play. And the member amenities? Unmatched. The gym and locker rooms are top tier, and the cold plunge and sauna take the recovery experience to another level entirely. Ballers Philadelphia has it all — world-class instruction, stunning facilities, incredible food and drinks, and a community that keeps you coming back. Absolute must-visit.

Awesome cavernous space inside an old power plant. Fun pickleball play, well equipped gym, and good bar and restaurant for après activity. Easily accessible from Delaware Ave with private parking lot.

Very high end facilities for different sports with huge ceilings. The pickleball courts are great to play at. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. 4 stars because it is quite expensive.

I really love the atmosphere, a hidden gem in Philly. They have a good selection of things to do and the food is super tasty. I got the ceasar salad and mango habanero wings, they were amazing! I came here to play pickleball and had a great time
