Bomb Bomb Bar
★ 4.6 · 474 reviews Philadelphia Opened September 2025
A South Philly classic reopened by Palizzi's chef, now seafood-first.
Bomb Bomb reopened on Wolf Street in September 2025 with the chef and owner of Palizzi Social Club running the kitchen. The bar is old South Philly, the cooking is not what it used to be.
Seafood leads now, with a $65 prix fixe that moves through shrimp cocktail, clams casino, stuffed calamari and crab cakes. The Infatuation added it to the Hit List.

Went with a group of six for the pre-fixe! Everything was fantastic from the service to the vibe to the food. Everyone is so friendly and fun and attentive. Some favorites were the spicy red sauce with the mussels, the calamari, and the carbonara. Also went for lunch and the pork sandwich and ribs are excellent. Will definitely be going back.

A bit pricey. We loved everything here for dinner except the squid ink pasta. If you love squid ink then you’d love it, it was just a lot. I love coming to sit at the bar for drinks and apps so it was a nice change to finally try the dinner. Highly recommend if you love seafood.

Old school Italian food in a cute little dive in South Philly, classic table-clothes & all. Nice selection of delicious seafood dishes, our favorite was the Dungeness crab steamed with butter. Spectacular service and solid wine selection. Absolutely plan go back
