Oxtail in gravy and ackee with saltfish on Christian Street.
Taste Negril opened on Christian Street in May 2026 doing Jamaican staples without much fuss: oxtail in gravy, ackee and fried cod, curried goat with rice and peas.
Open 11am to 8pm most days and closed Sundays, so it's a lunch place more than a dinner one. The beef patties travel well.

Delicious food and owners are so nice. Had the ox tail go and it was so tender and flavorful. Would like to come back and try more food!

Went there with my little boy Sage who ate the plantains and the rice .. I had the jerk chicken that was excellent and owners gave a sampler of goat curry that tasted amazing. Will be back soon

It's a tiny spot and you may miss it if you walk too fast, and dang is it tasty!! This is Jamaican food done right! Tastes like the meals I used to have back in Miami. The spice level is perfect, in my opinion -- super flavorful, spicy enough to clear your sinuses and leave that lingering, tingling heat but without it being so spicy it hurts 🙃 Absolutely going back to try more dishes!!
