A first-time owner claims a College Area corner that sat dark for years

The Mesa Bar & Grill sits at 4712 Felton Street in the College Area, in a room its owner had wanted since it went dark in late 2020. He signed the lease the moment he found it was still open.

It's his first place after years managing other people's, starting as a security guard at Tin Roof downtown and working his way up through the bar. Pub food, games on, no theme. That's the whole idea.
