Hawaiian food on Grand Avenue, next to PB Shore Club

Hawaiian food is thin on the ground in San Diego, up there with Laotian and Basque on the list of cuisines the city barely has. The kitchen runs all day and keeps feeding PB Shore Club next door after its own kitchen shuts, the late option on that corner.

Grind and Prosper Hospitality opened both this and PB Shore Club at 707 Grand Avenue in August 2024, the same group behind Louisiana Purchase and Coco Maya.

Great little spot next to our hotel to grab a quick bite. Burgers and fries were damn tasty! Wife & kiddo approved. Service was friendly. Chill island vibes and tunes in the small outdoor seating area. Better and quicker than most of the burgers offered nearby. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful place near the beach! We had teriyaki tri-tip bowl and the portion was big and food delicious! The kids had shave ice on the sunny picnic table outside and it was wonderful. My kid spilled the shave ice and the staff was so nice and gave us another one without us asking. We are very impressed and really appreciate it!

I was on a business trip and just wanted a burger and fries but I always tell myself to try new places. I will tell you oh wooow this place was amazing. The customer service was far better than expected and on top of that. I ordered the teriyaki fries 😍😍i am so sad this is the only place in the nation. If you are near this area in SD you have to go here. Im across the country still thinking about it

Honestly the best burger place I’ve come across in San Diego. Kiera & Memo were super nice, the vibes and music and atmosphere is perfect. Above all the burger was incredible
