An organic brewery on the bayfront
The brewery has been running since 2017 and makes organic beer, rarer in San Diego than the city's reputation suggests. Founder Haggerty talks about taking it slow and getting the details right rather than opening fast.
Protector Brewing soft opened its BRIC taproom at 901 Bayfront Court in June 2024, downtown on the water. Open 11am to 9pm daily. Sit outside.
