Steaks, martinis and a fireplace worth fighting for

Market Steer moved out of Hotel St. Francis in early 2024 into a bigger space on Washington Avenue, big enough to fit the Tack Room, a standalone bar with Chesterfield sofas and a fireplace that pulls almost as much attention as the steaks.

Happy hour there runs 4 to 5:30pm daily and fills up fast. Go for the deviled eggs and the caviar Frito pie. The main dining room keeps things classic, steakhouse cuts and martinis.
