Santa Fe's old-school adobe institution, back with a sharper menu

The stuffed sopaipillas that Santa Fe grew up on are still here, just plated with more care since the reopening. The building itself is the draw: 400-year-old adobe walls in the Barrio de Analco, serving New Mexican Cajun food since 1944.

Book ahead for the dining room. Next door, the refreshed Dragon Room bar still takes walk-ins for a drink and the same low-lit, local energy.
