A concept store shopping through a historic house's living rooms

Cosimo skips racks and shelves entirely. It's set inside the parlour floor of a historic house on East Liberty Street, clothes hung on domestic walls, jewellery and objects laid out on tables like someone's home, if that someone stocked Bembien's woven leather bags and rotating independent labels.

Stylist and designer Emily Morabito Lacey named it after her great-grandfather Cosimo Zanzarella, an Italian tailor who emigrated to the US. The mix spans womenswear, menswear, home goods, apothecary, books, fragrance and art, and the buying skips the names already on Broughton Street.

Good to know

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm; closed Sunday and Monday.
It is on the parlour floor, up the stoop, easy to walk past at street level.

SO GOOD. I forgot what retail therapy (100% a thing) felt like until visiting Emily and Erin today. Thank you ladies!! The shop is SO beautiful but also they have Menswear!? that’s not fish belts and polos (no shade!)! In Savannah!?? 🤯 I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to see what Emily brings in next!

Cosimo is such a special spot in Savannah! Emily and her team have curated such a beautiful atmosphere to daydream and shop in! Their price points are great and items you won’t find anywhere else in town. Definitely worth a visit!

What a special spot! This is the kind of place where you wish you could just buy absolutely everything. I bought the perfect pair of pants, a few house plants, and a little necklace that I picked out the charms for myself. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Savannah.
