Doro wot and sambusas on Lake City Way
Bite Of Ethiopia opened in March 2026 on Lake City Way NE, adding to the run of Ethiopian kitchens in north Seattle. The room is painted in bright colors and seats maybe thirty.
The menu sticks to classics: sambusas, doro wot, several lentil dishes. The veggie combo feeds two people for the price of one plate.

We had a great meal here, it was the perfect spot to take our vegan friends! The veggie combo was really good and two of them was the exact right amount of food for our group of four. Atmosphere is very casual. I’ll definitely be back!

This was a great experience visiting Seattle after moving away. I came to have the things I missed yet we snuck in this new gem. We shared a few of the dishes with a group of 6, as a person who has to eat gluten free this was a great family style meal and will definitely be back. I am not celiac and did not ask how safe the entire prep area was.

Such a neat place, I had a seat next to the window and got to enjoy the combo platter. I paid $28.00 for the plate (minus the bite I couldn't wait to eat)
